Psychic Dancehall – live debut on January 11th

It’s with great excitement that we announce the debut live performance of the London/San Diego based duo Psychic Dancehall. The project is a collaboration between Crocodiles man Charles Rowell and Hollie Cook of The Slits. The duo’s debut LP, titled “Dreamers” was released in November on the label Art Fag Recordings. It’s a debut record that seemingly draws on various different inspirations, with traces of influences from dub to dream-pop sounds. The resultant impression is that the record could easily be a soundtrack David Lynch’s cult Twin Peaks TV series, with visceral and airy Julee Cruise-like vocals.
